One of my close friends visited me couple days back. there was an interesting talk came up when we were chatting. it was about where we want to stay when we retire. my view is that we (of course, my wife and me only. highly doubt about my kids as they grow up here) will go back to my home country and live there for the rest of the life. my friend had challenged me that i won't go back to my home country as we are so used to the living styles in this country and it is very difficult (in his words "nearly impossible") to go back there and adjust to the culture over there and he told that even though i said now, it will change over time period and i would definitely won't go there. i told him that i would write this in my blogs and let's see what would happen when we are close to retiring age.
two main concerns i have personally and did not tell to him :)..
1. it is highly doubt that this blog remains that long to prove my decision :)
2. not sure i would live till retire :)
i'm sure one of these would happen before my retire so, i do not need to prove him my decision :) :)

Heart Touching Story.....!
[excerpt from FB]
A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor. On
seeing him, the dad yelled:
“Why did U take all this time to come? Don’t U know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t U have any sense of responsibility?”
Th…e doctor smiled & said:
“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”
“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would U calm down? If your own son dies now what will U do??” said the father angrily
The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.
The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,
“Thank goodness!, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If U have any question, ask the nurse!!”
“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.
The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”
Moral- Never judge anyone….. because U never know how their life is & what they’re going through”

"Never Come True" DREAMS.....!
I think everyone has dreams somewhere or throughout in the life.. so i am not any different from them. everyone feels happy when a dream comes true as long as it is what they are looking for, at the same note, some dreams never come true. the strange is, even knowing that some dreams are not really getting true, not even any possibility, still we like to dream about them. i also have a couple dreams that never became or will become true, for sure in this life time :)
First one is, i want to be a pilot, two reasons i would think of why this became impossible, first, we did not have enough money, the other, kind of funny but it is true, i am afraid of heights :).
The second dream was to be a good swimmer.. huh, you may think why this is an issue, but for me, it never becomes reality. i even took some classes, but for some reason it does not get me to the right path, knows all techniques, or at least basics, but not moving forward fast enough how much i try.
but still these two will be in my dreams :)

After A Long Time
it's been a long time since the last update, was a busy schedule or just lack of interest made me not writing on the blog? may be both.. anyway, thought of just sharing my latest interest... it's reading novels, more preciously teen novels :) it is very interesting to understand american teen culture and thought process of teenagers here, and possibly help me when my two boys become teenagers. there is no any definite way of selecting novels, but looking at the year book was published - prefer very new books, more dialogues compared to lengthy descriptions. here are few read during last two-three months if anyone is interested to know :)
The list will continue as long as my interest remains unchanged :)
- Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
- Stupid Fast by Geoff Herbach
- Nothing Special by Geoff Herbach
- Under the Banyan Tree by Toni De Palma
- Tall Story by Candy Gourlay
- Stealing Heaven by Elizabeth Scott
The list will continue as long as my interest remains unchanged :)
